BLACK IRON, LLC Journeyman Electrician in CEDAR CITY, Utah

Purpose-Description Looking for a self-motivated journeyman or master electrician level individual with the skills pertaining to electrical work by exercising the acquired and developed skills and knowledge pertaining to the installation, alteration, maintenance, inspection and repair of electrical distribution systems(including primary and secondary wiring) and of clinical, laboratory and research electrical devices and equipment, emergency power generation systems and other common electrical items used at the mine. Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent Certificates preferred but not required 4-5 years of experience requiredCompletion of an approved commercial-industrial apprenticeship programCommercial-industrial journeyman's license Have means to make it to work on time without attendance problems. Must pass a drug screening Knowledge-ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of office-shop-industrial buildings and structures. Experience with Mines and Mining facilities preferred but not required.The employee must be able to work in a team environment with knowledge and skills pertaining to, but not limited to, active listening, active learning, critical thinking, interpersonal communication, detail oriented, problem solving, safety conscious, time management, and self-motivated.The employee has to be physically able to carry out their duties and responsibilities to the best of their abilities associated with their job in extreme weather (mostly heat) while considering the needs of their colleagues and obeying all lawful and reasonable orders given to them and complying with all regulations and policies set by the state, county, and company.The employee is expected to have and maintain (with regular training and updates as necessary) the knowledge, technical skills and qualifications that are necessary to perform their job role to comply with the requirements of the company and any applicable rules, regulations (particularly with MSHA) and with any law which applies to their job role.
